Spontaneous things are always the best. That's exactly how I ended up flying to neighboring Giebelstadt a few days ago to fulfill a childhood dream under the wing of the D-MCCV – cooking my favorite dish. Nothing fancy, but simply delicious: pancakes. I think in many regions of the country this dish has a different name, but here we simply call it "pancakes." Arriving in Giebelstadt, I set up my equipment under the wing and got straight to work. Just three hours earlier, Chris from Belmont called me and said he happened to be in Giebelstadt that same day to inspect a Belmont with retractable landing gear. So, chance and spontaneity were my companions – and in the end, I even managed a little air-to-air test flight, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
